Drinking Water- Challenge May 2015

Water Cure- May ChallengeToday is the first day of May and I miss this challenge from Natasha St Michael. The Drinking 6 to 8 cups of water per day challenge was in APril and I Just heard about it.

In the meantime I have been trying to increase my water consumption. I wrote about the importance of drinking water and the Water Cure book in this post.

But to be honest I battle to drink water. I believe that I do not lose the weight I  need to lose because I do not drink enough water. I eat, and many times I know I am thirsty and not hungry. But it is more comfortable to eat than to drink.

Natasha from Radiance Central says that as a result of this challenge she felt more energetic. I think water is the missing key in my diet. Even though I am eating a healthy diet, I do not have the energy and many times I fall asleep during the day.

Natasha has started a daily green juice challenge during May. But I do no want to drink juice, because it takes time to prepare and it is not what Dr McDougall recommends. It is also more expensive than water. 

So I am setting my challenge for May During the month of May I will drink between 8 and 12 glasses of water daily (between 2 and 3 liters). I will also have 1/4 teaspoon of salt per day as the Water Cure book states.

So I started today 1st of May, and I drank 2 liters. I do not think I will make the 3 liters. But from tomorrow I will aim for 3 liters.

I am hoping to experience more energy and to lose those last kilos that I have to lose.  The challenge is mainly for myself, but anyone is welcome to join me. If you are, please comment below.
